It feels like spring ...

1st August lambing started, and they have pretty much started on que with a number of lambs in all paddocks.  The weather has been kind to them so far - mild and dry.  No pet lambs yet but it is early days, although Alice is waiting patiently for that pet lamb!

Things are relatively dry at present and the originally planned rain due this week was going to be very welcome.  So far it hasn't arrived so fingers crossed it does this week.

Main farm chores at present is cattle rotations, with all the sheep set stocked.  Other tasks consists of some repairs and maintenance and catching up.

We also have another member of the family now and is settling in well. We had 4 girls climbing on and off on Saturday and more rides to day.

Alice, Cosmo and her friends celebrating 6th birthday

We had several girls either stay or visit over the weekend to help Alice celebrate her 6th birthday, but the real day not until Thursday.  Below is my attempt at a rainbow cake.
