A week on in the building

It has been a week on in the building of our shed.  It is starting to look a bit more like a shed but with only two people working on it, it is a bit of a slow process.

On Monday, it was concrete pour day, with 7 m3 of cement turning up, two wheelbarrows in action, all the holes were filled in approximately 4 hours.  Only one mishap in the day, when we lost Alice down one of the holes.  Luckily there was no cement in the hole, and was able to be pulled out with nothing hurt but her pride I think.
The first cement to be poured (30/04/12)
Cement truck, filling the barrow (30/04/12)
A filled hole (30/04/12)
Then it was on to align all the poles and put the two end rafters on and top outside beam.  The rafters are 300 mm x 50 mm and by the looks on the guys faces when lifting them, they weren't light.
End rafters and outside beams up (03/05/12)

As above

Started work on the inside rafters (03/05/12)

All the rafters up ... looks a bit more like a shed! (04/05/12)

As above
Had a few issues with the bolts for the rafters, arriving a tad too long, so a new set were delivered on Friday, and work putting them in started today.  Hopefully this week, we will see bigger changes in what it will look like.
